Description: The word 'nanotechnology' or 'nanoscience' receives a lot of exposure in the press - some of it just hype, some of it very exciting scientific progress. Yet the basic concepts involved allow science teachers an opportunity to reinforce important topics in measurement, chemistry, and physics. We will cover both some of these basics as well as selected hands-on demonstrations in this workshop.
